There's no love like Jurassic love

This is just like my tumblr, except with more words.

sketch round-up 20

I discovered I still have several working 0.05 pens.
They are the greatest thing.

A monster drawn during rehearsal, because orchestras have this effect on me apparently. They've probably banned me from being anywhere near a musician after seeing this.

A spider thing, because if you're going to do a thing, it might as well be spider related in some way. Spiders are cool yo.

I don't know what this is. It's okay, I don't think it knows either.

This is what happens when you workout one arm all your life and forget to do anything else with the rest of your body. It's a very common condition. Beware, it could happen to YOU. Yes you.

Assorted tiny sketching.

Also here are the photos for the concert-screening last night. (I think you need to be logged into facebook to see them, but it should be a public album).
<3 to everyone who made it possible and to everyone who came. You are all the best.

I can look back now and be proud because during our film some kids totally lost it and couldn't stop laughing. That's right you science doctor astronaut people, you may save lives, go into space or fire lasers, but I can make small children laugh hysterically. You got nothing on this.

More stills from 21

Here's some more shots from 21, which will be screening this sunday at 7pm. Yes I am going to keep linking to the event until it happens (which is going to suck if we get caught in a time loop and I have to keep plugging this for all eternity):

There will be a live orchestra! I hear they are all the rage.
Much better than dead orchestras anyway, those just kind of get in the way and smell funny.

It makes perfect sense, really.

Think about it.
Cupid is an angel, thus he lives in the heavens. Dead people also live in the heavens. You know what else is dead? Velociraptors.

Mama's not the law

I'm the law.

21 still

Before you scroll down to look at the picture, you should prepare yourself. A human brain can't quite cope with the action packed imagery I'm about to present.

This is the first official still from the film 21 that I've just recently completed, in collaboration with the talented Maxime Goulet.

The film will be screened on the 24th of february as part of the 31st Rendez-Vous du Cinéma Québecois (in Montreal for those unaware :o), with a live orchestra performing the music. Now I don't know all that much about orchestras, but I am 97.3% sure that means there will be a tuba in the room, which will make that particular room superior to any room not containing a tuba, so you should probably come and bask in its brass glory.

Here's the french press thingie.

Also I will probably be spamming the tubes with more information prior to the screening, because what is the internet for if not shameless self promotion?
(don't answer that, we all know what it's really for)

sketch round-up 19

Sketching has been happening once more. Things are slowly winding down so I have time to sketchify thing. Eventually things will wind down so much, I will stop moving and remain frozen in place until the universe ends. I just hope it happens while I'm doing something cool and not halfway through putting on my pants or something.

Anyway, drawings and things (and by things I mean drawings because redundancy is KING):

I was watching spartacus. I'm surprised I ended up with no violence or boobs. I think I may be watching it wrong.

A fat astronaut. In the biz, we call them the fatstronauts.

Robut eye and tiny t-rex. THEY FIGHT CRIME.

Apparently people don't think "fistopus" is a good name. I can't imagine why.

Weekly roundups may actually resume. Until I figure out some other way to not have any free time, which probably won't take very long.
